Well, the blog may have fizzled a little, but our trip did not! Just a hop, skip and a jump from Denver, Colorado, I am pleased to send everyone greetings from the southern most city in the world, Ushuaia! For the last week and a half we have been driving around and trekking through amazing Patagonia, enjoying the gnarly mountains, pleasant forests, and the majestic lakes it has to offer. We've also picked up an awesome hitchhiker named Marino in El Chalten, a climbing and trekking mecca in Argentinian Patagonia, and he's been with us for the last few days achieving one of his goals of seeing Ushuaia. I'm not sure if he's staying here to sell his art or returning north to somewhere on our path towards Buenos Aires, but either way he has been a very enjoyable guest.
When I find a longer term place to stay with faster internet, expect a massive picture update, but in the mean time I'll post up one or two to hold you guys over (assuming someone is still actually reading this thing).
BTW- Eat our shorts.

Re: Ushuaia!
Your writing is intoxicating, inspiring, and lyrical. Someone is absolutely reading this and will continue to do so in perpetuity. Thanks for the literary escape!

Re: Ushuaia!
Back in the good ole USSR. Complete with pay-at-the-pump, incredible beef jerky options and Mountain Dew.

Re: Ushuaia!
Pumping your own gas huh? Sucker....I hate beef jerky anyways. The horn and hazards quit on the truck today, good thing I replaced it with a $55 mountain bike.
